01. Who is this course for?
This 12 session course will give you the opportunity to plan, design and build your own Website using free WordPress software.

02. What will I learn?
This course will give you the opportunity to become familiar with website design principles using WordPress software. Understand website structure, planning, formatting techniques to construct your own website using themes, widgets and plugins. Learn how to: - Customise a Theme - Create Pages and Posts - Install Widgets and Plugins - Learn basic HTML and CSS coding structures

03. How will I learn?
Your progress and achievements will be recognised and recorded throughout your course in several ways. For example: practical tasks, written and verbal feedback from your tutor, practising and completing exercises and/or a learner diary.

04. What will I need to bring?
Pen, notepad, plenty of enthusiasm and commitment.

05. What skills or experience do I need?
Good keyboard and mouse skills are required together with a good understanding of file and folder management. Some background knowledge of website structure may be useful.
