01. Who is this course for?
This course is designed to give learners a brief taster to British Sign Language and how to communicate with someone who is deaf. The course consists of topics such as: •Fingerspelling •Greetings •Signs

02. What will I learn?
To learn basic British Sign Language Giving learners an insight to how to communicate with a deaf person. Giving learners the opportunity to utilise their new skills and knowledge and put it into practise.       

03. How will I learn?
Class activities including group and paired work Feedback from your tutor

04. What will I need to bring?
Pen and paper for your own notes (minimal amount of writing included in course).

05. What skills or experience do I need?
None - just an interest in BSL and the deaf community and a willingness to have a go! Additional practice within your own time throughout the course will support you to successfully practise your new skills. A certificate of attendance will be issued

08. How will I be supported in my learning?
Once you start, if you have further queries and/or support needs, please talk to the tutor. We also offer support to help people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
