01. Who is this course for?
This course is open to all levels of ability, so whether you are a complete beginner or someone with a bit more experience, you will be able to develop and improve your skills with lots of support from your tutor. The course will include experimenting with different materials, subjects and techniques, as well as providing helpful insight into aspects such as proportion, perspective, colour and composition. You will work from photographic imagery and real life subjects.

02. What will I learn?
Exploring drawing & painting media · Exploring a variety of different subjects. Developing observation skills · Developing drawing skills · Developing painting techniques · Design & composition · Working from your own photos and real life. Learning about artists and their artwork.

03. How will I learn?
Written & photographic records · Feedback from the tutor · One to one & group discussions. An Individual Learning Plan (ILP)

04. What will I need to bring?
Any graphite Pencils (B,2B,6B etc), charcoal, cartridge paper, drawing equipment such as a ruler, sharpener and eraser, watercolours or acrylic paint, brushes and watercolour paper. You could also bring soft pastels, colour Pencils and fine liners if you have them.
