01. Who is this course for?
The aim of the course is for you to be able to take your camera off auto setting and explore the creative side of photography. You will learn how to operate your camera in manual mode using the following functions: - Aperture - Shutter Speed - ISO Furthermore, how the adjustment of these functions affects the photograph’s depth of field and composition.

02. What will I learn?
This course is suitable for all makes and models of DSLR (Digital SLR) and bridge cameras with the facility to change Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. If you have been using your camera to just point-and-shoot why not explore the manual settings and get creative! The course will help you understand how the different camera controls affect your images. Learning how to use your camera in manual mode, you will develop your understanding of the fundamental basics of the elements required to produce a correctly exposed photograph using practical demonstrations. You will have the opportunity to get hands on with your own camera.

03. How will I learn?
Tutor feedback, verbal and written. Use of Individual Learning Plan Peer evaluation One to one & group discussions.

04. What will I need to bring?
DSLR or a bridge camera Tripod with mount plate Pen and paper Camera manual (if available)

05. What skills or experience do I need?
No qualifications are needed, but some experience of using a DSLR or bridge camera is useful to get the most out of the course.
