01. Who is this course for?
This course will cover the observation of various plants, flowers and natural subjects. The course starts with learning to draw in detail, paying particular attention to creating form and perspective and then explores drawing in pen, coloured pencils and water colour paints. There will be several projects set which will help learners work towards producing professional, traditional Botanical Illustrations. Advice and guidance will be given to learners of all abilities and experience.

Exploring the basic and more advanced techniques of observing, drawing and painting plants and flowers

Written & photographic records · There will be continual one to one assessment and guidance · Group discussions and displays are part of the course procedure · The completion of Individual Learning Plans will evidence progress

04. What will I need to bring?
Basic pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener and sketch paper.

05. What skills or experience do I need?
No experience is necessary just an interest in the subject. The course is designed for beginners and intermediates
