01. Who is this course for?
Do you have a child learning language in KS2 at Primary School? Would you like to gain, or refresh your knowledge and practise some essential language alongside your child? This fun short course is ideal for all the family. The emphasis will be on learning ways of expressing yourself to be able to talk to people and 'get by' on holiday. Family Learning allows parents and carers to understand more about how their children learn. It encourages families to learn together and provides skills and ideas to support learning at home. Up to two children per adult (19+) - each child must be accompanied by an adult.

02. What will I learn?
Lessons will include: • Wide variety of resources and 24/7 access to Virtual Learning Environment ? Plenty of opportunities for games, songs, stories and fun. ? Guidance and support on using the internet for language-learning This is a 8 week course consisting of 1 x 90 minute lesson per week. The course will be based on functional language looking at different topics each week in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The emphasis of each session will be on basic and useful language learning, all of which will be developed through a variety of fun and interactive activities, drama, rhymes and songs, creative activities, and games; enabling everyone to develop an 'ear' for the language and practise this in a supportive environment. You will also develop an understanding of the country and its culture - looking at festivals and celebrations.
