01. Who is this course for?
You will learn English for everyday life, community and work at Entry 1, 2, 3 or Level 1, 2. Speaking and listening: conversations, questions, answers, discussion, pronunciation. Reading: signs, notices, leaflets, letters, articles and texts at all levels; dictionary use. Writing: alphabet, notes, letters, forms, emails and articles; spelling, grammar, punctuation. You will become more confident using your English and you will move to our mainstream accredited course take a national ESOL examination when ready.

02. What will I learn?
Skills and topics depend on what you need to learn for life, community and work. You will discuss your needs with your tutor and have your own learning plan. You will use the learning platform to download and upload work set by the tutor as homework and other tasks.

03. How will I learn?
You will get feedback from your tutor and achieve targets in your learning plan. When you begin to use English better and with more confidence when speaking to other people. being able to write and read simple text.

04. What will I need to bring?
A4 ring binder folder, A4 paper, pens and pencils, mini white board. You will need to know how to use Microsoft Teams, have a Smartphone, laptop or tablet with internet access. If you do not have these, please let us know at enrolment and we will help you.

05. What skills or experience do I need?
None. Your English level will be assessed before you start in an individual meeting, to match you with the right class for your level.

06. How will I be assessed?
None You will work to an Individual Learning Plan.

08. How will I be supported in my learning?
Once you start classes, if you have any more questions and/or support needs, please talk to your tutor. We also offer help to people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. If you have a disability, learning difficulty, health problem or mental health difficulty that could affect your learning or participation, please contact us for more advice.
