01. Who is this course for?
A taster course in both English and maths with Leicestershire Adult Learning Service will help you to develop confidence in the use of basic number skills such as budgeting and working with measures. It will also give you confidence and improve skills in the use of basic reading, writing and listening skills. The aim is to help you carry out tasks in everyday practical contexts and the world of work. This course will give you a taste of the topics, levels and structure of our functional skills courses. Experience/Skills Required To Join This Course:No qualifications are required to join the course; however, you do need to attend regularly, for at least 80% of sessions.
